Individual Development Accounts (IDA)
Let funding received by BVCAA assist you and your family in buying a home, furthering your education or starting a small business!
This collaborative effort between BVCAA and United Way of the Brazos Valley seeks to build assets of the participants. IDA's are savings accounts that can be used for purchasing a first home, capitalizing a small business or funding education that will increase earnings. Contributions by the participants are matched by BVCAA. Everyone involved in the program receives economic literacy training that includes workshops for cleaning up one's credit, setting budgets, creating a savings schedule and other basic money management.
